EGreen Joins International Workshop on Managing the Water–Food–Energy Nexus in the Greater Mekong Subregion

Ho Chi Minh City, July 16–18, 2025 – EGreen Technology Joint Stock Company was honored to participate in and contribute to the Managing Water–Food–Energy Nexus for Sustainable Development in the Greater Mekong Subregion” workshop, organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and international partners.

The event brought together policymakers, experts, development organizations, and businesses from across the region to share experiences, discuss solutions, and promote regional cooperation in managing and investing in the integrated fields of water, energy, and food to address climate change and advance sustainable development.

In Session 6: WFE Nexus Technologies and Innovations for Adaptation Enhanced on the morning of July 18, Mr. Pham Duc Tho – CEO of EGreen delivered a presentation entitled “Turning Livestock Waste into On-Farm Energy: Biogas Solutions that Work for Farmers”.

The presentation highlighted:

  • The current situation of greenhouse gas emissions from livestock farming in Viet Nam and the potential of utilizing waste to produce clean energy.
  • EGreen’s biogas generator systems and gas treatment technologies, which help reduce pollution, save energy costs, and contribute to carbon credit generation.
  • Successful case studies at multiple farms, proving the feasibility and dual benefits—economic and environmental—of biogas solutions.

The event provided EGreen with an excellent opportunity to connect with international partners, share innovations, and explore cooperation opportunities in renewable energy, green technology, and emission reduction.
